Venue requirements for The Farm Yarra Valley
Important venue information
The Farm Yarra Valley requires all floral installations to be delivered, repurposed and packed down by the florist within the venue's approved access windows.
♻️Repurposing
Ceremony florals at The Farm Yarra Valley can be moved to the reception space — arbour blooms become the top table or bar arrangement. Repurposing is carried out by our team between the ceremony and reception.
📦Pack down
The Farm Yarra Valley requires all floral styling, vessels and hardware to be removed at the end of the event. Pack down is quoted with your package so nothing is left for you or your guests to manage.
🚚Collection
Hired vessels, plinths, arbours and candle holders are collected during pack down or the next morning, depending on the venue's access window.
⏱️Same-day requirements
Where the venue hosts another event the following day, everything must be delivered, installed, repurposed and removed on the same day.
🌙Night pack down
Late finishes mean a night pack down after guest departure. Our team works quietly around the venue's own clean-down crew.
🦜Wildlife & environment
Outdoor ceremonies are exposed to wind, sun and local wildlife. We select hardy blooms, weight arrangements and avoid loose petals or materials that could be left in the grounds.
🚪Access requirements
Deliveries use the venue's service entrance with a booked bump-in window. Trolley access, lifts and stairs are confirmed with the venue before your date.
🔧Installation requirements
No fixings to walls, beams or heritage surfaces — all installations are free-standing and weighted, with floors protected during build.
